Electromechanical bolt – Lock the steering column (ESL)
On the market there are cars fitted with an ESL bolt that serves to lock the steering system to prevent theft. Unfortunately, this system often fails and comes to such cases as:
- The steering wheel does not unlock when placing the key or card in the ignition switch, the bolt does not react.
- No ability to start the vehicle
- No possibility of transporting the car to the desired place (broken bolt prevents us from moving the steering wheel)
